Six Arlington Companies Named to Smart CEO Future 50 List


Averaging an employee and revenue growth rate of 20 percent to 30 percent, the 2009 Future 50 winning companies are doing anything but slowing down, even in a challenging economic environment. Four years ago when SmartCEO launched Future 50, the winners employed 5,000 people collectively and brought in over $2 billion in revenue. Today, the winners employ over 23,000 individuals and generate $6 billion in revenue.

Future 50 recognizes 50 fast-growing companies in Greater Washington based on their revenue and employee growth over the past three years. The 50 companies represent software developers, network service providers, information technology providers, finance, human resources and other industries. The average 2009 Future 50 winner has between 50 and 100 employees and generates $30 million to $50 million in revenue each year.
