Deloitte Signs Lease for Expanded Offices in Arlington; Will Bring 950 Employees


In late June, Deloitte LLP announced that it will sublease nearly 172,000 square feet from the Corporate Executive Board Co.’s Rosslyn headquarters. The move will bring 950 employees to the Arlington location.

The 12-year sublease will house Deloitte's growing federal practice, creating a close-in, yet lower-priced alternative for the blue chip firm.

Prior to the subleasing arrangement, Corporate Executive Board leased 625,000 square feet at the Waterview building at 1919 North Lynn St., which was developed by The JBG Cos.

The agreement cannot be cancelled in the first 12 years, but Deloitte may extend the sublease arrangement through the end of Corporate Executive Board’s lease, which runs through 2028.

The lease was signed on June 10. Cushman & Wakefield Inc.’s Audrey Cramer represented Corporate Executive Board. The Transwestern team that represented Deloitte was led by Jovi McAndrew of Transwestern's Bethesda office, with support from Phillip McCarthy, Keith Foery, Mark Richardson, Matt Bundy and Joshua Masi.
