FDIC Expands with New Sublet Space

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) signed a relet lease at 1310 N Courthouse Road (the former Verizon Building) in October. The government insurer signed a 5-year lease of 107,000 square feet over three full floors. The lease represents net new growth to the Arlington market.

Approximately 300 jobs will be located at the 1310 N. Courthouse location.

In July, the FDIC announced its headquarters move to the Empire State Building in New York City.

The 10-year lease was for 102,960 square feet in the iconic Manhattan office tower. The FDIC plans to relocate from 20 Exchange Place in the first quarter of 2010.
